Bearing Precious Seed Representatives
Growing up in a preacher’s home, I was constantly surrounded by and involved in the work of the ministry. I worked on a bus route since I can remember, and was involved in almost every ministry that my church had to offer. I had heard the Gospel preached, I had even led many people to Christ – but I knew deep down that if I were to die, I would spend a Christ-less eternity in Hell…but I ignored the Holy Spirit’s call for nearly three years. However, when I turned 15, I couldn’t run any longer. The Lord, in His mercy and love, showed me that I was lost and in need of a Saviour. I knelt down in the centre of the Teen Sunday School Classroom and asked Christ to forgive my sins, cleanse my heart and make me whole – and he did just that!
Almost two months later, the Lord laid on my heart the call to preach. I knew immediately that he wanted me to be a missionary/evangelist of some sort. I was working with the Spanish department at my church, teaching every week and translating for my Pastor – so I thought for sure that was where God was leading my calling. To a point, that is what God wanted – but there was still a lot of focusing that God needed to do in my life before I was ready for the ministry.
After I graduated High-School in 2006, I started working at 3rd shift FedEx and translating on the side for different things – one of which was translating a tract into Spanish for Dr. Gail Riplinger. As I started translating for Dr. Riplinger, I would call nearly every week to give updates and go over the changes I had made to the different sections that I had been working on that week. One evening, when I called to give my weekly update, I did not talk to Mr. or Mrs. Riplinger…I talked to their daughter, Bryn. We talked for nearly an hour and a half. Needless to say that my e-mails started including Bryn’s name and my phone calls got a bit more frequent. Bryn and I were married in May of 2009.
During this time while I was in Bible College, my third year to be exact, I was confronted with a question that I was simply not 100% prepared for – Is my King James Bible inspired and 100% perfect? Needless to say, I spent hundreds of hours studying the issue from all sides, and talking to my pastor, my dad and Dr. Riplinger about it. As the year progressed, I would find that the Lord had begun to open my eyes to a serious problem in “preacher” world – many of them had been taught something that was found nowhere in scripture, and in stead of questioning it they simply swallowed the bait the Devil had given. God began showing me the real need to give Christians back their King James Bible.
Now, the Lord has led me to Local Church Bible Publishers. What better way to hit the Devil hard than to get God’s people printing Bibles and sending them, quite literally, around the world! I am honored to be on board and help this great ministry! I am looking forward to helping Christians get Bibles out, and know that the Bible they are getting out is, in fact, God’s perfect, inspired, inerrant and preserved word of God.
